It may be that you own commercial property but lease it out, in which case, you probably don’t think you have much to gain by reducing your tenant’s electricity bills.
This is not true
Using an PPA (Power Purchase Agreement), you can charge your tenants for the electricity that you have generated onsite that they have used. This can be easily recorded through generation meters and charged to your tenants. Alternatively, an agreement can be reached by incorporating the cost into the rent over the lifetime of the lease.
Battery storage offers even more flexibility. Landlords can take control of the battery system to ensure the cheapest electricity gets delivered to their tenants while they enjoy the benefits of the PPA. Alternatively, a VEST battery allows the landlord to get batteries for free, allow VEST to manage it on their behalf, and reap the rewards of VEST’s advanced energy trading technology.
